Driven To Deliver Accessible, Client-Focused Service

Since the founding of the Nederland law firm of Branick & Devenzio, a key component of the practice’s success has been its ability to blend focus and versatility. Attorneys at the firm have never tried to be jacks of all trades; instead, they have focused on only a few practice areas, preferring to gain a depth of knowledge and skill that made them formidable opponents in court or at the negotiating table. However, over the years, the firm has expanded the types of cases it handles to include areas as diverse as Social Security Disability, personal injury law and wills and probate.

Today, the firm’s managing partner, Trent Devenzio, carries on this tradition. His calm demeanor and his passion for case preparation are only exceeded by his dedication to client communication and responsiveness. Clients describe his office’s treatment of them with phrases that include “kind and thoughtful,” “very good at listening to our problem and explaining the different paths the law allows to a solution,” and “absolutely amazing and so professional.”

Finding The Right Legal Solution For You

Trent understands that the circumstances of your case are unique. His first order of business is to listen to you and learn about your situation. Only then does he craft a strategy for moving your case forward. He is a successful trial attorney, board-certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a graduate of the Trial Advocacy College of Texas. He has secured verdicts at trial that met his clients’ needs numerous times.

However, he also places a high value on the power of mediation to settle legal disputes. He began working at the Jefferson County Dispute Resolution Center during college and became one of its youngest certified mediators at age 19. Today, he mediates cases as a neutral party and helps parties engaged in disputes find creative and equitable solutions. His experience in mediation has also honed his skills as a negotiator for the clients he represents, and he frequently is able to save them the expense and stress of trial by securing compensation in out-of-court settlements.
